I chuckle to myself as I sit here tapping this blog into my phone.
Why I hear you echo?
I’m now on holiday from work till the 14 April and it just made me chuckle because I’m going absolutely nowhere!!’ Nowhere!
My trip will be from bed to work desk and as of tomorrow it will be from bed to sofa! Living the dream, the current Covid19 one.
I didn’t have many plans when I first booked the time off. Only I had planned some days hanging out with my daughter and her son. Day trips that kind of thing.
Sadly due to Lockdown that is not possible.
I’m right now missing my son and daughter a great deal. Doing the brave I’m ok and I’m fine face but inside my heart struggles with the knowing I have no idea when I can next hug them.
It’s such an uncertain time and I’m wondering how long this may go on for.
We are in the early stages and already it feels suffocating the restriction to life as we know it.
But, we can find ways to explore the world in the confines of our isolation. Today I’m taking you to a place called The Getaway.
