I’m just chilling in my real little world and enjoying the peace. I’m not in SL tonight as frankly I don’t feel like it.
Some days reality is deserving of my attention especially when the sun comes out like it did today.
Plus I’m going to give it a break while I go SHEIN mad online. Seriously I’m in purchase mode from there and loving the prices and the quality is pretty good too.
I’ve gone earring mad tonight and treated myself to some T-shirt’s and a few dresses for the summer.
Then it was Amazon’s turn where I went wacko on some gel nail polish and body butters.
So I look forward to my self treats as to be honest I very rarely do them and I feel I should more often. So that’s all I’m saying today because I’ve got the rest of this lovely evening to enjoy and that I shall.
Films night! I’m up late absorbing fantasy.
By the way Saturday Sale is in and today’s number is from Entice.

A truly cluster of one. Systems down, can’t access anything and me here dreaming of laptops flying through the air in sheer frustration.
I’m glad the day is over with because for the only time you will ever hear me say it, I felt bored.
It’s difficult when you have no access to email or folders to find things to do other than wish the phone would ring. You literally have your hands tied and at the same time because it’s work, you can’t exactly leave your seat and find something else to do.
I took to drawing squares and circles on paper and stick men. Then it was hangman and then I thought to myself this could need a shrink kind of doodling.
I then discovered 3D paint on the laptop and painted a 3D woman. That’s it really.
So here’s hoping tomorrow is a better day because I really hate feeling like I’m just sitting waiting for the phone to ring. Give me work pressure any day!!!
This is my pretend look of the train home and out to a meal for the evening.
Rather I may considered to be. I’m totally into my phone these days. The current love of my life other than my family.
It speaks to me via a male Aussie Siri and I can find whatever I want on it. I check it for shopping, I check it for news. I communicate with friends and family on it and even play the odd game on it.
Seriously have you ever considered how attached you are to your phone? I certainly have and it’s actually quite worrying how this gadget has slowly taken over our lives.
I’m currently considering what we would do without it.
Let me tell you. Chaos!!!
I remember some years ago when it snowed so badly it affected the networks etc and my little gadget was rendered useless. I was stranded in town unable to let anyone know where I was. Just stuck. 5 hours wandering around a shopping centre because I couldn’t walk home in my work heels.
Let me tell you. We rely way too much in tech and really need to at times switch off and learn the old fashioned things. You know, walking places and talking?
Sadly though in our current climate our tech is doing two things. Keeping us in communication with people we cannot see but also enslaving us.
So I decided it’s a bit like a marriage. Addictive and satiating but also at times confrontational.
I think we can often overlook how beautiful art can be. It’s easy to do so because there is so much that surrounds us.
I often stop and look and just appreciate what I see and just think wow! Digital Art in Second Life is one such part of creation that I look at and each time think wow.
I appreciate the time and creative thought that the person behind these works must take to bring these ideas into our virtual world.
Any form of artistic creation makes our world a vibrant backdrop. Enjoy…..

Another weekend escapes me and tomorrow it’s back to the same old routine. Roll out of bed, breakfast and work. On and on and on.
No seeing anyone apart from the housemate and wondering when my life can pick up again.
I had a lovely video call with my grandson Mason today and it made my day. The sad thing about the call after I said how much I missed him he said “Grandma you’re not in our social bubble so I can’t hug you”.
It cut me inside because no child should grow up seeing life in this way.
It’s January 2021 and it’s been nearly 11 months that we have been living this surreal life.
One thing during this period is I have learnt about friendships and who is really there when we need them. You know, people who you can count on to listen to you and just talk.
I’ve learnt who are not genuine and the selfishness of some I had never noticed before. Ive never been more alone than I am right now and yet at the end of a phone, there’s the path to feeling not alone.
Tangible but not within reach. But still there.
Pick up a phone and ring someone. You just may make them feel less alone.
When I knew this was coming, I have to say I fangirled big time.
This gal can dance!!! I mean seriously if I tried to move my butt cheeks like her, I’m sure I would pull my back right out and lose my left cheek to the abyss out there.
I believe this is the hugest and I mean hugest followed dancer Paragon Dance Animations have brought into Second Life.
I didn’t even have to explain to my real life friends who this lady was, they knew straight off the bat.
I’m excited to bright this to you. No gimmick no flashing Spielberg effects, just straight out let you see this dance.
Performance captured by Lexy Panterra, celebrity twerk instructor & social media twerk icon. Her unique mesmerizing moves shows that it’s not the size of the bounce, but the magic of the dribble
Paragon Facts:
In the USA, Twerking is a popular booty shaking style of dance that evolved from the New Orleans style of hip-hop known as “bounce” from the bounce music scene in the 1980s. The word “twerking” first appeared on record in the song “Do the Jubilee All” by DJ Jubilee in 1993, in which he chanted, “Twerk baby, twerk baby, twerk, twerk, twerk.

I’ve just been watching Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Junior and Jude Law. Why haven’t I seen this before?
Great film and the sight of Robert Downey naked strapped to a bed with a lovely floral pillow for his modesty. Well that made the film!!!
I’ve never really been into Sherlock Holmes, mainly because I’m more a modernist type film buff. When I say modernist, I mean in terms of look and era. So maybe I change my mind now.
In other news Drax sent this following link to a few and I watched. Then I watched a second time.
It really is interesting and if you don’t mind subtitles it’s worth watching due to the subject. It does make you think. I say no more.
It had to done right? I mean you agree? Thelma had to be given a job.
Not just any job, she has been entrusted with doing the Bite Size tutorials and using her very extensive knowledge to impart skills to her viewers.
Of course she has her own style. In that now Thelma feels part of the work force again and will earn pennies for little Trevor. Trevor is an aspiring child model and Thelma needs to ensure he gets the best portfolio for him.
