There is nothing more challenging when showing clothing and eyebrows in blog posts and at the same time trying to make a photo fun and interesting. Showing both!
I don’t have the benefits of knowing how to paint things in or being graphically as talented as those around me using photoshop and gimp.
I have gimp, but my abilities in there are currently very noob. Mericat showed me a little tip the other week on smudging to rid myself of irregular areas.
I tried it and it does work. I’m just no good at it.
So capturing my eyebrows and outfit I decided to make it a lot more fun with the caption added. Maybe you can overlook some of the itty bitty bad bits to my capture.
Yesterday the 28th January, Marika celebrated my birthday on YouTube.
Marika announced a competition where watchers have to guess the song Marika songs and then in the comments name the song and leave their galaxy name for second life.
The prize? A mesh head of the watchers choice.
All names will be collected and go into a draw and be announced next week on YouTube.
If you want to be in the chance to win, click the link below, watch then comment your answer.
Good luck!!!

Because it’s not the height of local news anymore doesn’t mean the animals in Australia don’t need help.
Because they do.
As you know the bushfires have devastated a lot of Australian wildlife and those animals that survived need constant help to repopulate and be cared for.
Sadly this always comes at a price and the battle for animal aid is always a key thing because they represent a population that had no control over what has happened to them.
The animals did nothing to deserve this at all.
My heart everyday breaks thinking about them and what I remember bushland was like.
I grew up experiencing many of these animals roaming freely not in zoos. Because outside cities that is their habitat.
I don’t know what it will be like moving forward in the future. I just hope that the forests regrow faster and that they can inhabit their homes once again.
But of course you can help.
Right now is the Bushfire Wildlife Event in Second Life. Link also in my credits if you want to go buy yourself a great T-shirt like I am wearing and be part of the donating with your purchase.
Remember, it’s not about big bucks, it’s about passing up a cup of coffee at Starbucks . So doable for everyone.
If you prefer to donate directly I have also put some links below to animal aid organisations in Australia.
There are a number of links outside of world you can donate if you prefer and these are the following:-

I was contacted toward the end of last year to check out Sinespace and look at the DAZ 3D avatars.
Unfortunately as many know I wasn’t well over the Christmas period and couldn’t do so. The video I mean. I have been visiting and fiddling around getting used to walking and teleporting etc.
I’m still at work on my DAZ avatar in terms of shape but on the whole I’m quite pleased with her.
All that’s needed is a great head of hair and I’m ready to go.
I’m really impressed by these avatars as I can honestly see how they will eventually transform once more creators come in.
So last night I popped the video out into YouTube of the avatar and how you can actually make the look how you want. As you will see I had too much fun with the sliders.
There are actually a number of things that amaze me, one being the ability of sliders and how much you can do with them. In comparison to my other favourite worlds I have to say that aspect is pretty cool.
The other which I show is the effect of water. Now that’s only a brief view as I have full intention of showing you how it is to go under water where I saw fish.
If I had a VR headset I can only imagine how amazing that is.
So the joining bit.
You can join free and explore etc for as long as you want. You also get a home spot as part of you joining. There are also membership plans if you want to expand on your experience and you can check those out here
When you first start in Sinespace the company will give you a 30,000 silver currency for you to shop and clothe your avatar etc. There are two currencies to use in this world, both Gold and Silver. Silver you cannot extract back out of the world, so no you can’t join and take the cash! Shame on you for thinking it 😊
Currently in open beta, Sinespace is a cross-platform online virtual world (OVW) for PC, Mac, Android, and VR (iOS and console support in pipeline), where thousands of users come together every day to socialise, create content, customise their character, share experiences, and purchase user-generated content from the in-game store
It’s worth a visit and definitely regarding the DAZ 3D avatars which may not at the outset look great visually from photos, but the ability to then modify them to your hearts content is amazing.
Remember this is just the start and as more content creators visit I can foresee this virtual world doing good things.
For the interest of those who ask, no I’m not a paid promotion. I was invited to check it out and was pleasantly surprised.
I’m a fan of all the worlds I visit, because each has its own qualities I love.
I had the little fellow all day and just his presence always gives me a boost about what’s important in life.
Not possessions, not money, not all those things that people seek.
Family is what’s important. Watching him grow and being part of his life education and regular chats is what I love.
Followed up last night by his mum, my son and his partner coming for the evening and laughter. That’s what’s important. And good health to see it all!!!
Anyhow…..
Ok I went and purchased the Erin Evolution head and I’m in a quandary. I damn well love her. With my own shape I looked at her and fell in love.
I haven’t done the BOM with her just yet as frankly I didn’t have time as it was a family day yesterday and my time playing with myself was limited.
So am I ready to go Erin completely? I’ll let you know later as I’m going to see how I like her vlogging.
In the meantime here she is modelling KiB and Raindale.
As Harriet prepares herself for the Kawaii moment where she gets the chance to represent Britain in the Kawaii video award dance off. Sponsored by Paragaon Dance Animations.
Harriet feels very much part of the backdrop and enjoys taking in the clothing and food of her Japanese hosts. She has even learnt some of the language.
Kawaii dances are dances associated with the Japanese “Kawaii” (cute, adorable) culture popularized by J-Pop, Japanese schoolgirls, anime, cosplay. These kawaii dances are freestyled performance-captured by Ally Vega, a professional dance teacher in Los Angeles, CA who has taught and choreographed kawaii dances for Maid Cafe in Tokyo and the Anaheim Anime Expo cosplay shows.
