Hmmmm 7.20 am and I’m awake already. Am I crazy, this is my holiday!!!
To be honest I’ve been awake at early clock every morning this week. It’s habit and at the same time it’s pain.
I can’t stay flat on my back more than 7 hours as frankly it hurts then.
So I am awake in bed and now deciding on the day ahead. It’s mega cloudy outside at the moment and I’m hoping that blows away shortly as my plan is breakfast on the balcony and read.
Do you ever look at your bank balance and think, jeez I have nothing to show for that spend? That is me right now.
I had my groceries delivered this week as I do most months around pay day. I have got into the habit of choosing the same old shopping list each month as I’m a creature of habit like that.
I have subsequently decided that is a poor choice because whilst I wasn’t looking some prices went up and those few cosmetics I threw in my virtual trolley when doing the online shop? Those few cosmetics took my budget spend way over its normal. Now I am looking at my bank balance and thinking frankly ” there is nothing to show for it”.
I didn’t put out Coffee with Isa yesterday because frankly I having a real life business the past few days.
I am on annual leave for a week and just enjoying the sunshine, family and friends. Yesterday I went out with Mason and my daughter strawberry picking and then lunch by the river and just a wonderful afternoon enjoying the sunshine.
Anyone who has followed my blog the past few years will know that Mason had major heart surgery at the age of 2 months and he is a bit of a miracle child. He will be 3 years old in a month from now. So I am sharing him just this one moment again so you can see how wonderful he is and how he is growing into the most adorable little chap.
Today I have seen two friends then had to dash the cats to the vet for their flea injections and Bondi’s medication he has to take. So here is Coffee and a little snippet of yesterday.
So the title isn’t quite what I am in this moment of time doing.
In reality I am on my balcony with a cup of tea, a boob tube dress on and my sunglasses enjoying the morning sunshine.
This is what I call bliss.
Not sat inside in front of a computer screen turning into the next generation of bloodless, glassy eyed computer generated humans.
Someone asked me recently do I spend all my time on the PC because I output so much in the form of video, blogging and social media.
The answer is in a fashion no.
I often have my pc running but I am not sat in front of it. I have my virtual world running but I am necessarily participating in it.
I run that part of my life like a text message. When I get an idea I go to it. The rest of the time I am doing real things. Family, friends, housework and yes even sunshine. Yesterday was a whole day of family apart from an initial early morning period when I worked on this video.
One thing I learnt a long time back is to be less slave to the desk and more to the transportable appliances. Also health wise it’s better to be more mobile and less sedentary. I have to be or my health would suffer.
So this blog is right now constructed from my iPhone app.
Many of my blogs are. Regular slurls are stored on a notepad on my phone and photos are offline in Flickr if I haven’t uploaded them to WordPress.
I blog on the bus, on my sofa, at friends having coffee, in my lunch breaks and as you know right now in the sunshine. Living life.
If I can impart anything to any blogger it is get the app! Organise the regular links into a notepad on your phone and store photos in private on Flickr and it’s so simple to download them to your phone if you need them.
Oh and don’t forget the item you are blogging. I usually only have those in my WordPress draft on the pc. The rest is done right here doing something else.
