Two for one

Some days it’s so much easier to rely on yourself.

Do you find that?

I’m a very independent type of person in many ways and I do struggle asking for help or even waiting to receive it.

I’m an impatient waiter. Terrible trait, but at least I can acknowledge it.

So the two sides of me often solve my problems much easier.

An example is this photo. When I needed a second person, I asked myself.

The two of me. Often helping each other out in various ways.

Many people try and friend the other me, but that friendship is off limits.

You see often I need to have my downtime and the only way I seem to get it these days is to be an alternate me.

Only a handful of close friends have that access and despite people asking me, I have to say no.

It’s like going home and closing the front door after a hectic mad day. Relief and quiet.

I like to catch up on my own exploring and adventures too. Time to find places I want to blog in and see what’s out there.

There is a lot out there.

Autumn is slowly setting in. The leaves are turning yellows and falling. The nights are getting longer and the sun is going down earlier.

Time to break out the woolies and tartan.
