Today is my day off and the sun shines!!!!
I’m now sunburnt after sitting outside earlier today. To be fair, I never noticed the sun feeling that warm as I was covered by clouds. But my red face frankly says it all.
On another note. Who is on Tik Tok? Seriously I’ve suddenly gone made in it. Why on Earth didn’t I really get into it ages ago. Omg I have been laughing so much and become addicted!
So I’ve even started making some. RL, and some pixel ones.
I could be considered daft. But my god it’s cheered me up no end to just be silly and know that I’m not alone in the silly. Seriously if you want to find something to watch that’s frivolous. Watch Tik Tok videos.

Yes really. I personally believe in having fun in a not so great situation. It’s fun to watch people’s craziness in lockdown and 60 seconds is quite enough.
I don’t view anyone as less intelligent.
It’s simply a new and different generation.
And yes it’s fun 😊

Isabelle, did you ever try to converse with any of them in a written form? It’s impossible. They can only express themselves with meaningless slogans in oneliners. If you make a post of 2 or 3 paragraphs they freak, thinking you’re torturing them with a science book.
And they lack any manners, perspective or abstract. Gen Z is a totally devolutionized and wasted generation. 😦 And those 13 -14 year olds (there are hardly any older ppl in Tik Tok) are exactly TikTok’s envisioned target group.
No conscience, no consciousness. When we were that age, we were active members of socialist workers youth organisations, girlscouts or culturally active clubs, these younguns woudn’t even know how to spell that or grasp the concept.
With 14 I went to Israel with a German youth organisation, 2 weeks working in a kibbuz, 1 week travelling the country. Was an exciting time full of hard work and even harder discussions. The poor idiots of today don’t even have the slightest idea about global politics and Israel’s role in the in it. That or any other country.

Times have changed. We all move forward and I don’t see the youth of today as a wasted generation.
I have a different perspective.
