Immortality

On my Facebook feed the other day I came across the song Immortality from the Bee Gees being sung by Celina Dion.

I have to be honest I’m not a mega fan, as in I’d not go to a concert, but I do love her voice.

She sang immortality by the Bee Gees to the Bee Gees.

I actually cried as the combination of the song and her voice was so beautiful.

The words though are so beautiful. “We don’t say goodbye.” I believe that.

These days music often doesn’t have the same strength in lyrics that it used to. I can hear a song and like it just because it has a catchy tune.

Many of the older artists used to spend time really thinking about their story they wanted to convey in that song they wrote.

Those songs became our signature timeline songs we think of for different events in our lives.

There are still great songwriters now, but the manufactured lot, well if you listen closely the words have no meaning.

I digress from this dress but the name of it Immortal made me think of this .

 Now for the dress video.

But at the bottom of this blog Ive included the song I refer to. Because it reminds me of the special people who have come into my life.
