If I was on the way out the door right now I would be all sparkles and a understated glamour.
But I’m not. I’m all in grey with a touch of overstated “who cares”. It’s pretty much how I am these days given the long hours of being alone during my day.
Don’t get me wrong I do make efforts but I don’t get all glammed up for the cats to get excited about. To be fair it would be lost on them. I mean would cats care?
Have you found that your attitude to dressing up etc has changed in the past 20 months? I’ve come to realise how unimportant some things are in the grand scheme.
Dressing to the max is no longer necessary and frankly overrated. I prefer the virtual dress up as it’s actually less expensive and you can be dressed in less than half a minute.
On that note time time for dinner. Off I go.

Oh yesss! If you’d be a freshly opened can of lekker tuna they’d care and even love you for a minute or so. No tuna = No love!

Nope. That reformation happened in 99 when I quit my job and we moved to South Afrika for good. Since then it’s either bikini, motorcycle leathers or safari-type clothes for me. And leggins for gym/yoga and hanging out at home.

Mine has been last few years. I started working from home 1 year prior to the whole covid thing and it was the best thing to be liberated from all that office dress up stuff.
I like not having to be worried about looking a certain way and the whole wardrobe stuff.
My collection is now track pants and T-shirts and a whole load of casual whereas before it was all heels, smart stuff. Well liberated!!!
