Ready to winter shop and get new shoes because you have walked too much?
The Annual winter Shop & Hop in Second Life starts Thursday 10th for the Second Life Birthday Group Members from 9 am SLT. It then officially opens to all the public at 9am SLT on Friday 11 December..
There are 180 Second Life Content Creators participating.
There are 9 regions for you to visit with 20 stores per region.
All stores will have a free gift for you to nab as well as discounts from 20% upwards. I have seen so many discounts averaging around 50% which lets face it, if you are on a budget like me, makes sense. Get all your Christmas shopping done whilst saving a few lindens at the same time.
- Second Life Birthday Group will get early access to the event on December 10th from 9am SLT onwards.
- Event is open to the public from December 11th from 9am SLT to January 3rd.

The official landing page is here when the page opens for you to visit all landing slurls will appear. Until then you need to wait for the Lindens to let you in. Maybe some bribes?
Meanwhile I would get some good comfy shoes on, grab your backpack and Lindens purse. Last but not least a good tip is to lower your graphic’s down and draw distances so you can actually move . Another tip if you are on firestorm viewer is to go to World at the top and scroll down and tick “show friends only”. I find the less people I see the more view there is . Shop like a stealth ninja I say! So its time to prepare for the shopping madness and prepare.
