Meditate

Have you ever tried to meditate? Like this? In the picture?

I decided I would give it a go and see if it balances all those jumbled things swirling in my head long enough for me to think logically. See if I could be like my character Beverley and find my inner ying yang.

Well…I spent my time trying to uncross my one leg which went into a cramp at the time, which made me laugh and then cry at the same time because frankly calf cramps hurt.

Honestly I cannot take things I’ve not really done before seriously. I’m terrible like that and my first reaction is always to end up laughing at myself.

I do meditate. Usually sipping a cup of tea and just being in my own zone. Yet I’ve always wondered if the position makes a difference to how it works.

I’ll be honest. I’ll stick to my cup of tea on the sofa. At least I can then get back up. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  1. I’ve tried meditating, and it has been a mixed blessing for me. The problem is that I tend to overthink โ€” a LOT. So being quiet and still just lets my brain go into overdrive, which ain’t good. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ I’ve found that what works best for me is to listen music or a noise generator app while doing reading or writing. I also have a meditation bell app that I sometimes use too.

    1. Ooo whatโ€™s a meditation bell app? Sounds interesting. I often just sit back and donโ€™t let reality in and just let my mind take me places. Though my mind is always full of adventure itโ€™s also relaxing as itโ€™s so unlike reality too
Also I like some ASMR sounds. Water or just soft ambient anything. OMG I hate chewing lol hence my videos are a parody

      1. There are quite a few out there, just search ‘meditation bell’ in the app store. Traditional meditation bells are made of metal and make a long chime when struck, I find it works wonders to make me pause and clear my head.
