It’s Friday and I’m ready for the weekend to appear so I can take a moment to catch up with myself.
It’s been a pretty manic week reality wise and then of course the issue I raised via a ranty vlog earlier this week.
That vlog was removed, not because I had done anything wrong or in fact any reason to do with me.
I removed it from the YouTube platform because the vlogger it affected requested me to do so. Because there was some kind of agreement made that the copyright strike would be removed, if I removed the video!!!
Does that sit well with me? No not at all! I don’t believe in manipulation or any kind of bartering agreements like that. But, because this person was upset by their dilemma, I did.
In fact I have asked this vlogger if the strike was removed and I have had no response. So you decide.
By not answering I can only assume the outcome.
Now there is something I really need to say about this fiasco, it doesn’t sit well with me when anyone pleads for help and then I feel manipulated by all involved because of a business thought. I won’t go into it right now. It may have to sit with me a while before I do.
But, suffice to say this weekend there will be a vlog to discuss some of the pitfalls out there in both vlogging and also blogging that all of my fellow creators need to know.
Most in fact all bloggers and vloggers are unpaid free advertising for brands.
Now let that sit there while you consider that reality.

I’ve decided I’m going to speak of the creators I blog for and the events and tell you why I appreciate them.
Today I’m going to tell you about Keira Raindale whose daybed I am blogging.
I’m a useless decor blogger. Honestly I know that. But this lovely lady gives me a go and doesn’t hound me to achieve monumental picture sales with over photoshopped results.
Just a good old fashioned business person who understands that even though I’m not so great, she still gives me a go. Because at the end of the day I try. And when I have the time I go that extra mile by adding a video to show my appreciation.
