Meditate

Have you ever tried to meditate? Like this? In the picture?

I decided I would give it a go and see if it balances all those jumbled things swirling in my head long enough for me to think logically. See if I could be like my character Beverley and find my inner ying yang.

Well…I spent my time trying to uncross my one leg which went into a cramp at the time, which made me laugh and then cry at the same time because frankly calf cramps hurt.

Honestly I cannot take things I’ve not really done before seriously. I’m terrible like that and my first reaction is always to end up laughing at myself.

I do meditate. Usually sipping a cup of tea and just being in my own zone. Yet I’ve always wondered if the position makes a difference to how it works.

I’ll be honest. I’ll stick to my cup of tea on the sofa. At least I can then get back up. 😂😂😂

  1. I’ve tried meditating, and it has been a mixed blessing for me. The problem is that I tend to overthink — a LOT. So being quiet and still just lets my brain go into overdrive, which ain’t good. 😦 I’ve found that what works best for me is to listen music or a noise generator app while doing reading or writing. I also have a meditation bell app that I sometimes use too.

    1. Ooo what’s a meditation bell app? Sounds interesting. I often just sit back and don’t let reality in and just let my mind take me places. Though my mind is always full of adventure it’s also relaxing as it’s so unlike reality too
Also I like some ASMR sounds. Water or just soft ambient anything. OMG I hate chewing lol hence my videos are a parody

      1. There are quite a few out there, just search ‘meditation bell’ in the app store. Traditional meditation bells are made of metal and make a long chime when struck, I find it works wonders to make me pause and clear my head.
