It’s Monday. Same stuff just different day.
Taking a 40 minute lunch break away from my desk and just sipping some tea.
I do feel I need to pop out my front door and just wave at society and say, Hey there.
Only thing is people are not as friendly as me and often a random smile and hey there is met by a look of suspicion or that you are bat crazy.
I still do it none the less when I am out and about but lately the feeling has changed and I’m finding people are more anxious and in fact less receptive to a cheery hello.
One message I’d like to impart for this Monday. If you see what appears to be a crazy lady wave hello with a big smile on her face. Don’t turn away as though she was nuts.
Stop a moment and wave back and acknowledge that moment.
The world needs more moments like these. One smile and a wave, is like a domino effect in someone’s life. It cheers them up and spurs them to feel the same. Then soon you have people united in feeling good and in this together.

isn´t it weird? But yeah I do this on random occasions… Of course another mischief project of mine is on hold for now: leaving random cards and letters for strangers telling them they rock or that I ´m proud of them for being out and about today… or just a wink – anonomously. I read about it online when a girl put letters on a bridge that was supposed to be a suicide hotspot and then read about people posting in local groups those notes stopped them. Those lil things can help so much, even if it´s only a slight smile for a second or two.
Keep spreading love *.*
Awww what a lovely idea!!!
I’m fact I’m going to streak that idea and give it a go with all my neighbours. They may think I’m bay crazy anyhow so this will confirm that or help lol
Even the cheeriest of Hellos sounds muffled and awkwardly artificial when uttered from under a facemask. =^.^=
Genuine smiles show from the eyes. 😊
Ain’t nobody got the time to look in each other’s eyes, while bumping into them in the potatoes and celery aisle at the grocers. Jeeze, I’d be fukn creeped out. 😮 I hardly look at the cashiers or the bread lady. “No, don’t slice it for me, thank you” and “No bags, please, I got crates in the van” is all the human interaction I can manage. 😐
In n out like commandante Che Guevara, guerilla style!
Lol I’m a friendly soul so I feel better doing it. Lol
I’ve been out for a daily walk again the last few days, and I do try to smile when I pass people (and socially distance as much as possible.) Some of them seem to appreciate it, at least.
Do you find it also makes you feel better.
I find I feel chirpier when I smile and chat it’s pretty uplifting
Well, since I started doing my daily walks again, my issues with constipation have greatly reduced, again, and I have more energy during the day.
That’s great. Don’t forget the water. 😊
Feelin chirpie? Poor little birdie.
Sing a song! See if that helps …
