I’ve been logging into Second Life a bit more lately. Just the odd wander, a quick outfit change that somehow turns into longer than planned.
Today though, I accidentally left myself logged in.
Logged in this afternoon, got distracted in real life, and completely forgot to log out. Hours later it hit me as I could hear my PC whirring away.
Meanwhile I’ve been here, making tea and losing track of everything.
There’s something oddly comforting about it. She’s still there, looking flawless, doing absolutely nothing, and somehow doing it better than me.
I’ve logged out now.
I think.
