I booked a few days off work with grand plans of getting out and about, enjoying the fresh air, and making the most of some well earned time off. Just for me.
Unfortunately, the British weather has other ideas.
The rain arrived. I find myself so far spending most of my time indoors, perfecting what can only be described as my resting bitch face while staring out of the window at drizzle.
Still, it’s not all bad. Sometimes a few unexpected slow days are exactly what you need.
After a busy few months, a little forced downtime isn’t the worst thing in the world.
