I often wish that in reality there were numerous events to visit that I could get dolled up for. Truth be told the most exciting event is probably Eurovision as it stands. But in my living room.
I’m sat here taking a break from my housework blitz to just finger tap my blog for today.
It’s muggy as hell in my apartment and I have certainly been the glistening queen sweating away this morning. Yet there’s more to go. The ironing pile!!! By heck I will sort that today. Or maybe tomorrow? Either way I will head into Monday with that lot done.
I’m not popping out today as I’m waiting for a delivery of my grandsons birthday present. He will be 8 on the 22 July. Absolutely amazing!!!
There’s a story to his life and it never started easy at all for him. Today he is the little miracle that I adore and love so much. Even if hanging out with grandma is getting less cool than it used to be. Ha ha.
I wonder if he could ever imagine me dressed like this? One day I think I’ll need to show him that I can dazzle when I want to. In the meantime he gets casual grandma and that’s ok.

Why? How? Didn’t we all have an 8th birthday sometime in our lifespan? I know I was much less of a coldhearted bitch back then, and much stupiderer. And my skin was soooooo fuxn soft except all the calluses and bruises. And my hair so superblond, and I smelled of salty seawater all the time. Only my tits were even smaller than they are today …

Lol yes we did. But mason at 2 months of age was rushed into hospital for heart surgery and had a number of them after . He was nearly not with us which is why I feel so soft for him

So sorry to hear that, Isa. But happy he survived and is still with you. Can he live a normal life or is he handicapped coz of it? I remember friend of mine wasn’t allowed to run, could hardly walk fast coz she had heart probs. Hope Mason will be ok.

He is like a little over rocket. The only thing different is that he is smaller than children his age. Other than that his smart and developed well,
He has regular checks and has just gone up yearly now.
All good. That’s why I am so passionate about him and he is the reason when I turned 50 I decided not to go back to Australia as I wanted to stay in his life 😊
Coarctation of the Aorta is what they found x

Uh ok. Being smaller than most can be of good advantage, as hubby keeps telling me. Made him a better surfer and enabled him to build the bunk in his campervan at right angle where I and most other humanoids are sleeping lengthwise.
Just read up on the coarctation and found out its curable, just needs lifelong monitoring.
