It’s been an amazing weekend. Just all family and time spent together. I feel incredibly chilled.
I have truly needed this for a long while. No second life. In fact no pc turned on at all. Did I miss it? Honest answer nope. Not at all. No thoughts did I give it.
You see, family, life, friends are far more important in the grand scheme of life. I’m learning more and more how much I value that more than anything.
My sister in law and her daughter have flown in from Australia the week preceding Christmas and this weekend was spent with them staying and my children and theirs. Even my ex husband came.
Yes it is possible to hold good friendships with exes. It requires you to think less of yourself and more about what your children need. But I’ll leave that one there.
As you know I’ve cut back on a lot this month and I’m realising more how much happier my soul feels right now and just doing things at my own pace and for my own passions. It’s igniting back inside me.
I say to all bloggers and vloggers who don’t get paid to advertise. Think about what you are worth.
What your time is worth and ask yourself if the people you advertise for appreciate your worth.
Then ask yourself why you are not being paid for that worth when others are.
I’ve only been blogging bits this month for the people who started me in my blogging life. Those people are who have always shown appreciation and said thank you. I remain loyal to that and it’s been a mantra I have always held.
Know your worth my fellow creatives. Expect more for the hard work you put in. Because you are worth it!!
