Last night I woke up at 1 am, put on my finery and went to a live stream book event.
Ok, the truth?
Last night I woke up at 1am and dragged my pyjama clad self to my pc, bottle of water in hand and was the camera woman for the live stream debut of the of The Mystery Hour with Con Sweeney in Second Life.
It was something I was approached to do and I didn’t hesitate in saying yes to even though the times are at odds with my reality.
Con Sweeney is a Social Media Advisor and Strategy and Applications Consultant in New York.
Currently the emphasis is on the Mystery writers of America and how they are doing during Covid and promoting their works.
If anything, what a great way to introduce non virtual people into the virtual world and enabling another platform opened up to show how people can come together and communicate and collaborate despite distance and dare I say it COVID19!
This will run every 3rd Monday in the Month at Draxs book venue and yep you shall see me there poised filming like a camera woman. Ooo I might purchase myself a virtual prop for this!!!

Now it’s early morning and yes I woke up normal time. I’m sitting here drinking tea in my home from Wild at the Designer Showcase. Waiting for a man to tend to my boiler!

Err … I hope so. Boiler guys, a.k.a. glorified plumbers, are rarely waiting for us, do they? They are always late, never early, like precious little Divas. 😐

Lol waiting 8-6. It’s going to be a very long day.
My boiler decided two days ago to short circuit my electrics and do it’s all off do he can check it’s ok as fuse never resolved it. Mind you I can faff and catch up with some homey things such as bedroom dirt out and wrapping my grandsons birthday or eddies for tomorrow.
Two days off from work which frankly feels good.
