Reading and day off from blog

I had a day off yesterday from blogging.

Because I can. At the end of the day, I tend to blog like a hound and sometimes I just like to kick back and do a little something else.

Actually faffing in the 1/2 region I have acquired and rezzing beach houses as rentals.

Omg how hard is it to decide on a house. But on top of that making sure that it’s not a graphics card drain either.

I want this place to be lovely to reside for all and a pleasure to come home to. Not a nightmare because of its drain on graphics cards.

Oh and queen of palm trees is me. I didn’t realize the varieties I had acquired over the years.

Meanwhile Rosie Helendale is doing her role landscaping and moving around all the stuff I throw down on the ground.

I think she has been shocked at how much “stuff” I have. I love “stuff”.

I cannot wait till it’s completed to show everyone. And yes my reading corner has moved to the new place.

Anyhow back to subject at hand. I am today reading Chapter 2 of DH Lawrence The Virgin and the Gypsy.

Don’t be too harsh on me but last night recording this was a bit of a nightmare. Cats distracting me and then my getting used to do something like this.

Oh and having someone here listening to me is very disconcerting!

I think there is a real skill to reading out loud. I’m giving it a go so it may take me time to learn that skill.

  1. I wish you knew how relaxing I find your reading posts with your exquisitely lovely voice, it takes me back to preschool when the teacher would have us all lay on our mats and she would read with her glorious expressive voice. Thank you Is for bringing us some calmness in the middle of this topsy turvy time. Hugzz #StaySafe

    1. Aww thank you. So kind of you to say. I’m quite nervous about this as I’m known to talk fast at times and I’m trying not to rush through.
It’s been hard to record with housemate here.
I’m considering trying my laptop in my bedroom for talking and see if that’s better for my nerves in doing this in front of someone lol.
World is a bit peculiar and I too have my moments of anxiety about it all. What makes me calm and relaxed is actually doing my videos and talking. It always has 😊
Stay safe to you too x
