I thought it was pretty apt to write a blog alongside a sunny picture of me wearing a shorts outfit.
The reality, however, paints a very different picture. As I sit here writing this, it’s absolutely pouring with rain outside. I’ve just finished work and considering a cardigan.
The sky is grey, my balcony resembles a small lake, and the only thing getting a tan today is my cat laying under the tv.
It’s funny how a single photograph can tell one story while reality is busy writing another. One glance at the picture and you’d assume I was soaking up the sunshine, sipping something cold, and enjoying a glorious summer’s day.
Still, if British summer has taught me anything, it’s to make the most of the sunshine when it appears, even if it’s only for the three and a half minutes in world pretending the fun is shining,
