I took my Chez Moi picnic set to the beach at Luanes. Set myself up and texted a bunch of friends that afternoon treats in the sunshine were ready.
The scene was perfect. The cushions were fluffed, and a selection of snacks worthy of a lifestyle magazine spread sat waiting to be admired.
There were pastries, fresh fruit, chilled drinks in the Eski and enough sweet treats to make my tummy rumble.
Truth be told, I never invited anyone. It was an afternoon interlude with myself.
There was absolutely no chance I was sharing those treats.
