I wish for snow

I wish for snowflakes in the sky,
But in my town, they pass us by.
No frosty touch, no crystal glow,
Just wistful dreams of falling snow.

I’d love to see the world turn white,
To feel the magic of the night.
But here the winters come and go,
Without a single flake to show.

Still, in my heart, the hope remains,
That one day snow will grace our plains.
Until that time, I’ll dream and yearn,
For snow to fall and seasons turn.
