Honestly you can’t make it up!

Today I had the notification that my blog plan was about to renew and made the decision to downgrade it.

Mine has been on a business plan for a few years because of hosting sub sites. However one of the planned sites I was due to run has got lost in the ether due to pandemic and the real costs associated.

So today I chatted with WordPress and took the decision to downgrade. To run the business plan which I have done for a number of years is still a cost of £240 per year.

Today I realised that I really can’t justify it till I’m ready to do what I had planned. Which is a business idea unrelated to Second Life and my daily blogging.

I watched my site downgrade then watched as all my blogs suddenly started flying off the site. I could have cried. Tell a lie, I did cry!

Then weirdly I thought ok I need to put a theme back in etc and tidy up the site and then suddenly they appeared!!

I can’t know for sure it’s all still there as takes a number of hours. My site is backed up at any rate.

So let it be told, watching your work suddenly fly is the most disheartening thing ever!! But at the same time weirdly refreshing .
