My Genus struggles

Isn’t funny how you identify yourself and your look in a virtual world and then it feels like your second skin? Well that is how I feel about my everyday Catya Catwa head.

The thing is many makers are embracing the Genus now and so the makeups etc are becoming more towards that head.

So of course these are things I need to blog. Hands tied behind my back screaming as I am being pulled into 2019 domination of the Genus head!!

If you hear the scream in the background, that is me running as fast as I can to catch up with my poor wee head and letting her know I still love her and she will be back on my shoulders imminently.

So only for blogs will I wear this nothing like me head.

Dont get me wrong I do think it is a beautiful head and I noticed how amazing the detail is on the face. But its not me.

What do you think?

  1. I understand completely. I just recently upgraded to a Catwa head from my LL issued noggin. I’ve had the same “look” for years. It’s still weird looking at the new me.

  2. It’s a beautiful mesh head and very well thought out by Genus – lots of hard work come to fruition there – but your final look should be the one that best represents you at the present time and therefore the one you’re most comfortable with. From my own experience this changes from time to time.

    1. Yes it is beautiful. Just doesn’t feel like me. I may spend some time on it trying to tweak it.
The talking is an issue though as I look like I have a set of dentures in when I try do talking videos lol

  3. For me, it’s GA.EG’s Barbera head, with a *lot* of customisation. Then again, I don’t swap around makeup, and the stuff I do wear is Omega appliers so will still work if I move to another mesh head. Personally, I find the concept of head-specific make-up to be bizarre, since you won’t be able to use it on anything else. Mind you, my inventory is full of clothes that only fit Maitreya body. So I guess the market has decided that perfect fit trumps versatility. *shrug*
