I love working from home. I have done since 2019 and fully appreciate how much better my productivity is and the work life balance.
In fact I work better than I ever have and I can thoughtfully attribute that to no people = better worker me. Maybe I just don’t like people?
I’ve learnt that distractions in an office are my huge bugbear. I believe not everyone is like me, I work to a very rigid manner that at times I’m on autopilot.
Why? I just want to get the job done, log off and enjoy life.
There are others who I understand struggle with the discipline involved and need to be around people. That’s ok too.
Now, my reality has my desk positioned very much like this Chez Moi Anthology station, by a window with a fan nearby.
Menopause lady here and I need both fresh air and a fan in my heated moments.
