Work’s weighing on me today. My manager’s got this whole vibe going, and I’m front and center in it.
Sharp tone, public digs that feel like Im on target. Pretty sure I am.
I still catch the patterns though. I note them down like a detective. I’ve always been like that as without doing so no one ever listens. No one cares.
Today is the first time in a long time I cried doing my job.
So I log off and find my cats who pose no judgement. Who crave my time and appreciate me. Because I am the Cat lady! But also because work is not your friend. It’s just where you work to get paid.
Nothing more and nothing less.
