Cryptic words

I’m on a bit of a blogging roll this week. Often that happens if I wish to chat, feeling a little out of sorts or just plainly like to be annoying. Kidding about the latter one as I’m only annoying if you read the blog and wish you hadn’t.

Anyhow, today was very productive work wise until late this afternoon when I had a number of questions about actually why procedures and processes are not being followed.

Basically I’m learning one thing about myself, I’m clearly in some spectrum, because when people don’t follow what has been ingrained in me I feel perplexed, agitated, angry and upset.

Anyhow my day ended with me working later than I normally would and challenging some decisions being made by colleagues. I’m quite strong in the belief that if you see something that’s not kosher you raise it. Because if you don’t it just breeds bad feeling.

You’re probably thinking Christ woman what you on about? Love to say but some things about work I can’t because literally as we know with social media. Straight in for questioning etc etc. You know the work/social media thing.

I have managers at work who read my blog so they will not be surprised at my cryptic writing but often I also do it as a inkling for them to know I’m concerned. What they do with that seed, is up to them.

I’m good at my job. I’m process and procedure. It’s how I’ve become. When things aren’t right to me I’m becoming more open to challenge them. As everyone should really. Change doesn’t happen unless you say something does it.

I wish I was like this many years ago in the workplace as there are situations I could have really changed. But I was quite shy for many early working years and lacked confidence to challenge people who are paid more than me.

Now I realise that actually common sense doesn’t come in a pay packet. It comes in a jar and unless you inhale that jar, you’ll never get common sense!

Enough about my cryptic writing. All information as always re my pic is down below.
