Don’t be fooled by the photo, this lady is actually in reality in pjs the past few days suffering a frozen shoulder. But, I’ve turned up to my work desk and worked and done two live streams one after the other!
I’d say Martyr of the year award goes to………… me!!!! Ha ha
I seriously am in a lot of pain since early hours of Wednesday morning. I woke up during the night and bish bash bosh, can’t use my left arm properly.
I’d say I’m getting more pain tolerant in my declining years as previously when this happened I had to have morphine. Yes twice before.
There seems to be no abate to this and it’s probably worse than it was at the beginning. Nope I didn’t take time off work because frankly I can sit and type and rest my shoulder and can take calls.
In the olden days (pre working from home) I’d call in sick and be done. Well little choice as can’t dress. However working from home no one has been able to see the sight of me at all. They won’t be aware my hair looks like I’ve rolled in some hair hat stack and that I stink of BO because I literally can’t lift my arm to clean that armpit or let alone spray deodorant to mask it!
Honestly 2023 has already started with a bang. Sick bug a week ago and now this. Seems I’m best in pretend world as reality surely is a bit of a black comedy right now.
