So the photo for this blog has nothing to do with today. I’m in a bus headed to the doctors as I have some results to go discuss and get out the way.
I’m trying to be normal whatever normal is but it’s a bit hard to reach at the moment. For a start I think I’m late with a pumpkin pose. That was October right?
Still I kind of liked it as the pumpkin matches the outfit which then matches the backdrop of autumnal vibes. It’s really as simple as that.
It’s been a few days since I lost my cat. Many don’t understand the loss because they don’t equate pets to love and companionship or family. I understand that. But I have lost my best friend and his sister has lost her best buddy. She has been crying for days now but this morning suddenly sat next to me.
Now Tippi is in no way shape or form a typical ragdoll cat. She is and always has been timid, aloof and doesn’t like much attention. So for her to sit with me was pretty special. I’m hoping this means she will get through her grief and realise she is now queen in this home. Queen she shall be. Bondi is never forgotten but life will have to move on. I just need to unknot the knot within as well.
I’m off work another few weeks because as some will know I have been struggling anyhow and there comes a point you need to step down and take a backseat in life. Wind it all back till you are ready to run again.
My HRT is starting to kick in and I now have enough that I’ll not run out suddenly and hopefully my mood will pick up.
I shall try not to blog sadness but to be honest sometimes you need to get it all out how you feel. So don’t read if that’s hard for you, admire the pic and just check the credits.
First time I have blogged from a bus in like 4 years. That was how I used to do it before. On my way to work. Anyhow I’m about to get off and face the nurse and GP.
