Good morning world. I’m watching breakfast tv while eating breakfast.
They’re arguing about the show Benny Hill. Honestly has this world not better things to get angst on?
One woman saying no we shouldn’t be nostalgic and enjoy the bawdy comedy and another the fun of it.
The world has moved on but seriously if we can’t laugh and appreciate humour anymore. Then what the heck have we left. Yes I’ve said it!!
Yet it’s ok to show slasher films that really invoke the silent killers in our society? The world baffles me and it’s a lot worse than it was when I was a young teen in many ways.
So, the question is who is right and who is wrong?
To me, no one. Humans are not perfect and what one person finds fun and entertaining, another does not. That’s just how it goes.
Personally I say get a grip and concentrate on really what matters. Saving lives, saving our planet and treating each other well.
Life is about differences and accepting those. Let’s not get all angst over a nostalgic tv show that back in the day entertained millions around the world.
It’s just part of our history, it’s not world ending news!
Now again back to this dance video. Am I being sexist to myself by wearing a leotard baring my butt? Shall I put on a tracksuit and cover myself in neck to toe thermals?
Hell no. Appreciate the human form. How you see it says more about you as a person and not the male or female who dresses like it.
Plus I’m happy as a woman so go with it.
