Take a moment

Take a moment

It’s Friday and I’m ready for the weekend to appear so I can take a moment to catch up with myself.

It’s been a pretty manic week reality wise and then of course the issue I raised via a ranty vlog earlier this week.

That vlog was removed, not because I had done anything wrong or in fact any reason to do with me.

I removed it from the YouTube platform because the vlogger it affected requested me to do so. Because there was some kind of agreement made that the copyright strike would be removed, if I removed the video!!!

Does that sit well with me? No not at all! I don’t believe in manipulation or any kind of bartering agreements like that. But, because this person was upset by their dilemma, I did.

In fact I have asked this vlogger if the strike was removed and I have had no response. So you decide.

By not answering I can only assume the outcome.

Now there is something I really need to say about this fiasco, it doesn’t sit well with me when anyone pleads for help and then I feel manipulated by all involved because of a business thought. I won’t go into it right now. It may have to sit with me a while before I do.

But, suffice to say this weekend there will be a vlog to discuss some of the pitfalls out there in both vlogging and also blogging that all of my fellow creators need to know.

Most in fact all bloggers and vloggers are unpaid free advertising for brands.

Now let that sit there while you consider that reality.

In fact do so on this daybed and you will appreciate it even more.

I’ve decided I’m going to speak of the creators I blog for and the events and tell you why I appreciate them.

Today I’m going to tell you about Keira Raindale whose daybed I am blogging.

I’m a useless decor blogger. Honestly I know that. But this lovely lady gives me a go and doesn’t hound me to achieve monumental picture sales with over photoshopped results.

Just a good old fashioned business person who understands that even though I’m not so great, she still gives me a go. Because at the end of the day I try. And when I have the time I go that extra mile by adding a video to show my appreciation.

So my love today goes to the lovely Kiera Raindale.

Living

My garden has changed since this picture. The lovely couch and harp are still out there but I’ve gone a little nuts with my home.

All will be revealed at some stage, if I don’t change my mind before!! Designer Showcase and Raindale. Deets in the credits below.

On another note. I hope you are all ok and looking after yourselves.

We are facing a wierd time in history and bombarded by so much news that we really don’t know what is best to do.

Personally I’m taking the approach of trying not to become obsessed with the situation but at the same time, exercising care and making sure I am not placing myself in situations that could make me carry anything.

I have my own underlying health issues, but so do a heck of a lot of people. Remember, underlying health issues are the ones you cannot easily see.

It’s not just old people, it’s any age that can have one.

My grandson is 4, to be 5 in July. Those that have been with me a long time know Mason’s story.

There are many children like him out there, who come though heart operations but you still have to remember, it’s not always visible.

Children are not immune. Don’t assume that.

Be sensible, don’t panic. But I agree make sure you have food in your cupboards, but for goodness sake, don’t forget the elderly who can’t run to the stores or the poorer people around you and the homeless people.

Donate to food banks!!!

Look out for them. Put your hand in that shopping bag and share.

A White Christmas?

A White Christmas?

Well I’ll be damned!! No really I’m totally gobsmacked! I’ve just got into bed and I have a habit of browsing news in bed.

Clearly because all news has been pretty negative now for the past year or so. No news is good news as the saying goes.

Anyhow before I start prattling on the headlines as I browsed my phone said a White Christmas.

Then I realised those headlines came from the rubbish newspapers who put that out nearly every week here in the winter.

Chances are one day it will snow like they say, then I’m sure they’ll then claim they were the first to report it.

Back to my pretend virtual snow I go.

Showing you items from Raindale so have a look! I’ve linked the decent pics in the credits as frankly my photos never do much justice.

Being home

Being home

There is something so amazing when you walk through your front door and close it off to the world and disappear into your own space.

Its called being home.

Designer Showcase doesn’t usually have décor and when this popped up in my blog box today I thought you know what, I had to do it straight away.

I was going to do a Coffee with Isa from it and will do , but today I just wanted this photo without any humans in (well pixels) and just to admire the look of it and wishing when I turned to look at my living room in the real life my sofa was like it.

Dont get me wrong I love my living room, and I love my sofa, but at times don’t you wish you could click a hud and just change it like you do in virtual life to something new depending on your mood?

I did not move one thing from rezzing this. It laid and I was quite pleased at how it looked in its display that I left it as it was and added nothing else. Frankly it doesn’t need anything else in this scene.

A little decor

A little decor

Yeah I know right! Decor and me!

I’m still not quite master of a beautiful scene because I’m so not a throw out the Knick back person

I think there are some folk born to blog decor and then there is me.

I’m best lounging over said items posing but I decided this picture could exclude me, the video of course I had to jump in.

Today I’m standing at a bus stop and still waiting for the bus. Seems they have decided to take a detour and swerve way past this old bus stop.

Oh the day is already unfolding.

Have a lovely Thursday everyone while I stomp a bit.

Little bit of Gacha

I do find I’m loving a Gacha lately.

It’s like playing a game of monopoly , you roll the dice and never quite know what you will get.

Always a great surprise. Although going to jail is never a great move. Lucky you don’t have that in a Gacha!

Raindale has the Whorouly Gacha at the Liaison collaborative. My photo certainly does not do it justice at all.

I’d recommend hopping along and checking it out as judging from my photo skills, you will never get a true picture otherwise.
