I’ve been feeling incredibly sad and tearful of late.
As you know I’m from Australia but live in the UK. The catastrophic fires and the toll they are taking on people and wildlife has hit me hard.
I have family and friends in these areas and my heart just hurts knowing they are suffering like this and there’s absolutely nothing I can do.
I have the ability to feel others pain. I can’t describe it, but I’ve always had it. I felt my moms pain when she lost her leg and my friends when she took her life.
I feel it in my core and it’s almost enough to take my breath away. That’s is how I’m feeling now. The pain and seeing through their eyes and the animals not understanding where to go and how to escape. It’s almost I guess claustrophobic.
I pray for rain and maybe even snow to give instant relief.
I want to save all those animals who’s existence are so important as are humans.
Stop and think for a moment how lucky we are right now. A fifty linden Friday or a shopping event. Surely you can afford those few cents to contribute to helping?
