Today at work I looked out the window and said to my colleagues, it looks like snow.
As usual they laughed and said, Liz you wish!!
Well its not secret that all I want for Christmas is snow.
So to get myself into the zone, I decided to go and find myself some of the virtual white stuff .
It does and to be honest, it certainly has given me a moment to consider Christmas is coming in the next 4 weeks and am I anywhere prepared?
Hell no!!
But I have an idea and I will share my ideas soon. Just not yet.

To be honest, I’ve not really thought about Christmas much, mainly because of the General Election on Dec 12th being everywhere I look. (On the plus side, that means people are fixating on something other than Brexit.)
My family tends to celebrate the Winter Solstice rather than Christmas, because that has the bonus of marking the start of the days getting longer again. This year is going to be bittersweet, though, because it’s also the first anniversary of my dad passing away. So my sister and I are going to take mum out for the day to a Christmas market.
I’m under strict orders (along with all the other DJs on Gorean Whip Radio) not to play any Christmas songs until at least Dec 1st. And at that point the management will be loading up the Auto-DJ that plays between shows with plenty of those tunes anyway. 🙂 My final show will be Christmas Eve, then I’ll be relaxing until the New Year.

I’m sorry about your dad passing. I know the feeling. I feel it each year but you are like me about Xmas. As a family we never really did the whole Xmas thing. It’s just a day we decided along with the rest of the population to keep as a family day.
Mine are mixed religions of both Jewish and Christian so we never really did the holidays for those reasons. More about the feeling of together and time to reflect with each other.
The election. OMG Brexit and politics is driving me bonkers.
I think the world is insane at the moment.
I just came back from having a brunch fry up with my girly friends. (Have today off work).
We agreed we may create our own political part. Seeing as the current muppets are driving us bonkers.
