It’s my day off. A rare, beautiful, responsibility free day.
I went to the cinema earlier to watch the Smurfs. Don’t judge. It was with my grandson and daughter.
My only plan this evening? To give my balcony plants the TLC they deserve. A little pruning, a little chatting and begging of them to sprout more flowers, maybe even rearrange them into a Pinterest worthy jungle corner. Ok that’s an exaggeration! The Pinterest part.
Thunder.
So now I’m back inside, plants untouched, sipping tea by the window like a Victorian widow watching her garden dreams drown in rain. Feeling glad I don’t need to water them today.
To be honest? I wasn’t feeling it. I’ll do it tomorrow instead.
