Back to bed

How sassy can this possibly be!! Reality has it I wear a giant T-shirt to bed usually. But imagine just lounging about like this before bed?

I’m home already from a night out. Was great and I maximum enjoyed it but my back decided to ping and the pain that shot right through down to my arch of my foot I knew it was time I got myself home. Downed tablets and jumped into bed.

The cats are pleased I’m sure. My body is too, but my mind is still back at the evening humming Motown songs in my head.

It’s the first night out since before the pandemic started and being anywhere near a crowd of people.

I thought I might have had a panic attack but I held back on that. I’m not sure I’m ready for lots of people often. This will have to be a slow burn integration.

I’ll no doubt walk like an old lady tomorrow as I danced and flung my back but hey, it had to be done.

    Ok.
    But why?

    Why, grandma, why? 😮

Weren’t we the archetypical dancing queens in the 70s? And aren’t the 70s, like, gone since 40-50 years? We don’t need to hurt our backs on the dancefloor anymore! I bet you looked out of place like ABBAS’s revival.
