I’m ready for a dip!
I just thought about it this morning that I have no real proper holiday time off at all this year.
I mean I have booked days off here and there but no plans to go anywhere at all. To be honest it just feels a little odd to me to book a “holiday” right now. So it’s not something on my “need to do” list at all.
Nothing stopping from getting into the summer mode and enjoying own home surroundings at all. Even if it’s virtually.
Though days out and about are often a lovely way to spend time.

Odd indeed. Where in the world would you go amidst the 3rd or 4th wave and the delta variant? I’ve heard from enough overly optimistic optimists who ventured out and got stuck in exotic countries, had to leave their campervans and everything behind and were lucky they found seats on the last plane out Only to get quarantined at home. Not a good time to travel right now, hun.

No I’m not travelling anywhere. Never planned hence I find it odd. If anything I would visit my friend who moved to Cornwall but that about it.
I’m not even going there.
Everyone I know are complaining they need a holiday and I’m struggling to understand the “need”.
To be honest I think basically people haven’t learnt much this past year. We don’t “need” holidays. We need health and family x

Okeee. 🙂 I misunderstood you as you wanted to do some real travels. And, LOL,no shit, hubby and me are planning to travel Namibia soon. Borders are open I guess and in the Namib you will die of hunger and thirst a dozen times before you catch any virus. Perfect country for social distancing. 🙂

Nah I’m in no rush for holidays. I don’t feel that need in my life. Only to know that one day I can travel to Australia to see my family is all I need 😊
