I am the B O M

That look of shock on my face is the indication of my real persona.

I just woke up not so long ago to a beautiful day here in the U.K.

It’s like spring has spring all over again and promises to be a day of sunshine and barbecues. I may need to go buy lots of flowers to spread around the apartment to add to that spring vibe we have.

You may notice I look somewhat different. That is because I wanted to blog the Anya avatar by Kalhene.

I have not changed her aside from popping on lippy and eyeshadow. I’m still yet to decide on the shape I’m playing around with for her as I’m trying to reproduce what is the ISA face shape. I may not achieve it but it’s interesting attempting.

I love the curviness of this avatar and frankly it’s just so simple to use . For those new to the whole mesh experience, I’d highly recommend her because there is no complicated buttons etc, hiding this and that. It’s out the box. Add and dress. Plus price!!!!

Now I have found maitreya clothing for me is the best fit. As you can see the fit is great with this outfit at the EQUAL10.

Have a great sunny day everyone.

  1. Oooh, thanks so much for finding this, Isa. I kinda gave up with my mesh heads which cost me much too much money and even more time. Time, I’m not willing to spend on tinkerng with my toon. And being able to make myself pretty by just using the system sliders is perfect for me.

    And the price! 🙂

Guess I’m gonna buy it, get my settings, wear and forget. 🙂 \o/ YAY! \o/

Bikini comes with it? Perfect. What serious sailor girl in SL needs more clothes?

      1. Gotz myself the demo, looking forrward to the flat chest version. But now I don’t understand: Didn’t they say we can use the system sliders to shape our shapes? My fun-bags are always on rather small 25%, why would I need a built-in small chest?

  2. I need to play more with the Alexa transgender body and head from Kalhene, but I’ve not been on Second Life so much lately due to dealing with real life and my mental health. The head still needs some tweaking, the chin has an annoying step on it and the lips need adjusting, but overall, I’m pretty happy with it. That said, I’m sticking with my GA:EG head for now as it has 3D lashes *bats eyes* and I’ve got lots of animations for it, plus vampire teeth! 😀

Clothes compatibility has also been good so far. As my shape is very customized, I’ve noticed that some Maitreya items don’t always fit well. I suspect that some designers don’t test their mesh creations to make sure they support most of the Second Life shape controls.

On a related note, I tried out the demo of Maitreya’s new flat chest add-on at the weekend. That showed up the baked-in boob and cleavage shadow on my skin, which was rather hilarious. That’s another reason why I’m planning on making a custom skin texture designed for Bakes On Mesh.
