Yes you.
Over here.
Look at me. Over here.
Shhhh but don’t talk to me.
I’ve decided that’s what we bloggers are doing when we are doing.
In many ways I feel it’s become such a shame that is all many of us do now.
I remember when people would log in and just hang out but now we are either bloggers, vloggers or photographers.
Sims are not about people just hanging and chatting. It’s becoming more and more about time spent alone and even the appreciation of clothing and other virtual goods is no longer the same. It has evolved to something else.
The desire to “have” has intensified and the reason for the virtual world has shifted somewhat.
Don’t get me wrong I’m a well known antisocial person.
I have always been the same. The only difference is instead of making little lands I now blog.
I enjoy Second life for the solitude it gives me.
But not everyone logs in to be alone.
Many log in to find social contact or to escape into role play etc.
I think that’s why I have decided that I’ll set aside time to make sure I catch up with people more often.
When you work full time and have other responsibilities it’s a lot of a difficult task.
I just need to try harder. Not be anther pixel on a sim trying to look pretty.
If you see me. Say hi. Often my auto response is on but often that’s simply I forgot to turn it off.
