Clearly a non You Tube moment because well…
It’s Saturday and man I’m glad it is. This week has been the week from hell and beyond.
The usual clique culture that makes you question why people behave in this gang type of culture.
I came into work after being out of the office on training for a week. Discovered that one lady had left. I know why she left.
She found the isolation and singling out by the cliques hard to deal with and so had gone. She just didn’t come back.
But since then, they’re still doing it. Still gossiping about her and still bullying even though she isn’t present any longer.
I do wonder when cliques get together, do they ever stop and think about the mental damage they do to the person they single out?
I’m guessing no one stops to consider that.
I’ve never liked cliques and never been part of any.
I like to make my own mind up and not be driven by the views of others.
I just wish more people would be less led and more independent of influence.
Maybe there would be less bullying in the world and less people who feel alone and isolated. Who knows.
Suffice to say it has affected my week because you can’t win against those types of bullies because as a pack they don’t hear or see sense. Until it happens to them.
I’m one of the people amongst a few the clique likes to affect. The only difference with me is, I am never driven out by anyone and in fact often stand my ground despite the anguish it causes me, just to prove that point.
What goes around, comes around. And ladies, it’s certainly coming around….

Here are my thoughts and experience, not necessarily those of the majority.
People bully, on the whole, because they get pleasure from it. It makes up for inadequacies in their own lives, what they see as unfair and what is actually unfair, and it’s a form of revenge on life. They may also bully out of fear, wanting to remain in a crowd and doing what they say, because they don’t want to be thrown to the lions themselves. Some victims make themselves so, their weaknesses are on display for all to see, and so they are pretty easy prey. Telling someone in authority may not work. What’s the solution? For everybody to become more emotionally balanced. Fine words, hard to do. Roll on the day humanity grows up.

It’s horrid to see. A bunch of forty something women behaving like they do. I was really upset to go into work this week and know she just never came back. A really nice lady who just did her job.
Humanity has been this way a long time. I don’t think it will grow up in our lifetime, if at all. We learn lessons but then go and continue to make the mistakes all over again. It’s like a cycle.
She was an easy prey. She worked hard. Her flaw was she was a genuinely really nice person.
