Chains

Before you get excited, hell no I am not into being chained up and being told I’m a naughty girl. If I did, I’d be lying to you and laughing on my side of the pc at your pixel attempts to do the old Daddy with me. That’s another blog I may do sometime. You probably won’t like my take on it I’m sure.

This is more a visual expression of how we often feel so controlled in our lives that we may as well be chained up by some daddy wannabe dude.

I feel this every single day because at the end of it society controls our voices and our views.

Honestly social media and now life means we cannot speak openly anymore and that troubles me. That the words “ I’m offended” are enough to send a person to purgatory and basically blindside them from life in many ways in society and career.

Since when did we as people become ridiculous that we ourselves removed our own freedoms of speech? I see many people now so careful of word choices and even agreeing with platitudes that I know they don’t. That’s akin to imprisonment on so many levels.

No I am not referring to obvious racism, etc. I’m referring to the nuances of little things people say or do that now drags them kicking under those categories. I see it every single day and feel the world is seriously stupid at times.

Honestly I’m glad to see Ricky Gervais keep his attitude and his speech open and authentic. I appreciate that level of authentic.

Do I feel chained? Yes I do, like many of you out there. Our freedoms are on a leash and every governmental is our “Daddy”. The one who tells us how we should think, behave and live.

Let that sit and think about it.
