Décor Jazz

Yesterday I arrived home from work basically in tears.

Office bullies are my greatest despise.

They come in all shapes and guises and you least expect it when it happens to you.

I didn’t expect to overhear the discussions whispered at high volume or notice the interrogation of my work by someone who is famously and I mean famously incompetent. But I did.

It hurt.

You see two of the people involved both are highly unprofessional women who have major flaws in the workplace.

One for being basically paid a high wage and not doing her job properly for the last 5 years and the other for her poor behaviour in the office regarding her colleagues and the way she can treat them. Add to that open gossip about other team members in an open plan office.

Back to the first women. She has been protected from disciplinary action from two line manages because of her friendship with the grandparent manager.

If she hadn’t had that protection she would have been out of a job at the very least 3 years ago.

The other is simply great at her actress skills when line management are about.

So yesterday I was in the fire line for their toxic collaboration. It felt awful and today I’m unsure how I feel.

Suffice to say I am not one to tolerate being bullied. That is why I became a union rep in the first place.

Bullies have no right to be in any workplace, school or social environment.

So anyhow I went home and decided to immerse myself in something else.

Another attempt at decor.

Thank you to Raindale for letting me use your land to film.

Ok so in this blog pic I’ve hid the nips on the boobies. The Flickr version however is a different kettle of fish.

I do often wonder why  it’s considered offensive for we ladies to show our baps in photos when done tastefully and not in a sexually gratifying manner? I mean the men show their baps often when they go shirtless? In fact with their nipples erect at that!

The funny thing is that in real life on a lot of beaches it’s perfectly fine to frolic around topless with it all hanging out, nipples at attention and no one really gives a hoot.

So this leaves me confused at the whole nipple thing. Why is a nipple considered adult and has to be moderated in a photographic image?

Why are women’s nipples sexual and men’s considered not?

Suffice to say my video you don’t see the nipple just in case the wider public consider it some form of pornography.

It is you tube after all. But pole dancing apparently is fine . So I dance my pole.

Well, it was a song I woke up to in my head. Not sure that’s the correct title but I am not ready for Sunday.

I have lots of boring housework to do and all I really want to do is reside on my sofa and watch b grade films all day.

Back in the fifties, I remember my mum telling me how her mother would always be doing the housework and making meals ready for when her husband came home. She didn’t really have her own interests, only those of her husband,my grandfather.  My mum sadly went on to mirror that lifestyle but always told me “Liz, be your own woman. There is more to you than the other person”. So now I follow my own interests, work and juggle housework. Hmmmmm not sure I planned that correctly lol. Less of the housework!

Hence my inspiration for this blog video. Bit of fun.
