Glad rags. The term referred to putting on that outfit that makes you look great and ready to hit the town.
Why, because it’s Friday and the weekend is nigh upon us.
Mine may come out on Monday as it’s my birthday on Monday. Whether I live to celebrate it is another thing.
I’m on the bus and stupid woman driving keeps breaking hard.
I and others just flew out of our seats.
No apology or anything, she just keeps driving.
So my back is feeling jarred and I know when I stand up to get off this bus this day is going to be bad.
So perhaps my own glad rags won’t be adorning me, but I’m hoping everyone else looks forward to their Friday and Saturday evenings out.
