Schools out!
No I am not at school before you do a double take.
I am on the bus and I’ve waited for this day when there are no schoolies first thing in the mornings.
It starts today. They have begun breaking up for the Christmas holidays.
The joy of a bus ride without flying crisps and paper, the joy is real.
First thing in the morning I am usually swaying between awake and asleep. It’s rather nice to know I can chill on the way and not duck flying missiles or have to lean back because some school bag has just knocked me across the head.
