Before I even start. Please excuse my head cold as you can really hear it in this video. I wanted to make sure I went ahead with this Coffee chat and so had to record it over a few days. So please excuse if you pick up any pauses or sound imbalances
Todays coffee vlog I’m dealing with a topic which was requested and that was to talk about depression. I have tried to do so with seeking some knowledge and with use of my own experiences. I am no expert, but I am an expert in my own self experience.
I have referred to resources in order to be more informative.
I have also at the very bottom of this blog included places you can go to get more information for either yourself or a loved one you think may be suffering from depression.
A book I was recommended by a friend which actually surprised me in its helpfulness was this one called the How of Happiness. If you are like me and like to read and disappear, sometimes good books are a great resource. It helped me put things in perspective.
I recently bought myself The life changing magic of not giving a f**k which actually seriously just makes you want to laugh and laugh. After all, laughter is the best of the best medicine we can have.
My favourite line from the book is ” A f*ck not given, is something gained”.
Both books are on Amazon who I’ve recently affiliated to in order to try and ensure some kind of income generation towards this site maintenance. I don’t believe in providing links without letting people know this.

More information on depression can be found at the following links ( I have only outlined 4 nations in this but there are more if you google) :-

Umm, yes. Very brave to talk through all this, my friend, it’s not an easy subject. I would have to chat inworld to describe my experiences with this and it’s quite true what you say about creatives, they sometimes live on the edge and need extra emotional support. Your dad, bless him, may have picked up emotional dross from his patients and unless he knew how to clear it (and there are meditative techniques) it would have accumulated over time. It’s not the first occasion that I’ve heard from doctors, how they pick up physical/mental illnesses from the patients they treat over the years. People don’t realise how delicate the human body is nowadays, we are more evolved but as a consequence we need to take more care of our now delicate and precise human bodies and I mean on all levels. I agree with you on the emotional magnification of the Virtual World, I have my doubts if it is at all healthy. ❤
Deffo have to meet up in world and yakk.
Strangely I find this soul bearing stuff good for me . I knew there is always a risk to being so open, but for me it’s in many ways cathartic.
It’s one of the reasons I started to blog and Vlog. The voice .
I agree the emotional magnification is huge . Thanks for listening ❤️
