I didn’t put out Coffee with Isa yesterday because frankly I having a real life business the past few days.
I am on annual leave for a week and just enjoying the sunshine, family and friends. Yesterday I went out with Mason and my daughter strawberry picking and then lunch by the river and just a wonderful afternoon enjoying the sunshine.
Anyone who has followed my blog the past few years will know that Mason had major heart surgery at the age of 2 months and he is a bit of a miracle child. He will be 3 years old in a month from now. So I am sharing him just this one moment again so you can see how wonderful he is and how he is growing into the most adorable little chap.
Today I have seen two friends then had to dash the cats to the vet for their flea injections and Bondi’s medication he has to take. So here is Coffee and a little snippet of yesterday.
Before I even start. Please excuse my head cold as you can really hear it in this video. I wanted to make sure I went ahead with this Coffee chat and so had to record it over a few days. So please excuse if you pick up any pauses or sound imbalances
Todays coffee vlog I’m dealing with a topic which was requested and that was to talk about depression. I have tried to do so with seeking some knowledge and with use of my own experiences. I am no expert, but I am an expert in my own self experience.
I have referred to resources in order to be more informative.
I have also at the very bottom of this blog included places you can go to get more information for either yourself or a loved one you think may be suffering from depression.
A book I was recommended by a friend which actually surprised me in its helpfulness was this one called the How of Happiness. If you are like me and like to read and disappear, sometimes good books are a great resource. It helped me put things in perspective.
My favourite line from the book is ” A f*ck not given, is something gained”.
Both books are on Amazon who I’ve recently affiliated to in order to try and ensure some kind of income generation towards this site maintenance. I don’t believe in providing links without letting people know this.
