Let me tell you there is nothing seductive about a hot night in this apartment wishing that the roof would fly off so I can have some relief.

Honestly a few warm days and this place turns right back into an oven again.

Come outside and it’s cooler, go figure.

It’s true, British homes are built to keep in the heat. Not to cool down. All that insulation stuff is the culprit.

I’m not complaining mind you. After all summer doesn’t happen often and I love it.  I am genuinely a beach loving summer person.

I just wish I was on a beach somewhere sipping a tall ice cold cocktail, being fed grapes by a handsome man and the water lapping at my feet.

Ok ok, Ill take a cold shower!
