I’m genuinely buzzing right now because my friend is coming over from France for a long weekend, and I haven’t seen her in five years.
The kind of time where life happens, hair changes, people move, and somehow you still pick up exactly where you left off.
It’s funny how excited I am about something so simple, my friend, here, in real life, not on a screen. No time difference, no voice notes, no “we must do this again soon.” Just a long weekend of laughs, stories, and making new memories to add to the old ones.
