Valentines has been and gone. How did I spend mine you may ask?
With the most handsome young man who just makes me smile everyday the minute I think of him. My grandson.
He turned up with a single red rose and a card he made me. In turn I gave him a card and a bunch of fresh daffodils and his favourite chocolate aero the mint one.
We spent the day doing his most decadent favourite thing, watching gaming videos and chatting. A walk was supposed to happen but the rain wouldn’t allow for that.
It was the most wonderful day. Bless him he is the kindest and sweetest 8 year old I know.
Who needs a Valentine when there are grandchildren.
