The weekend’s a memory, a dream far away, But on Monday mornings, it’s here to stay.
The coffee’s my ally, my trusty old friend, As I stumble to my desk, my week’s about to descend.
Meetings and emails, a never-ending spree, Oh, Monday, you’re really not the day for me!
But we’ll grin and bear it, with laughter we’ll cope, For Monday, you’re just a slippery slope.
So I’ll face the week, with humor in my stride, And hope that the weekend’s never too far to hide.
