In reality I am on my lunch break. Usually I only take 30 minutes as any more it’s a matter of Flex Time. But today, I’m going to push the boat out at 40 minutes!!!
Absolutely anarchic I know. Call me a rebel! Well, not much of one as I’ll pay it back in time. So I haven’t really won anything.
Today I’m pretty tired. I have had an intensely stressful few days with arguments with British Telecom as my internet connection has dipped in and out and is now currently running on caveman dial up!!! Yup it is that slow.
So watch this space is all I can say.
Being stressed can have that effect on me and today is showing. Trying to catch up with work I missed due to downtime is always on my mind and just wanting to always get ahead.
I do often place a high expectation on myself for many reasons and I should cut myself slack. But habits are very hard to break when ingrained.
So here, find me under a beautiful archway of flowers at peace. the reality is not the same but let’s pretend shall we.
I am now off to make a cup of tea and go back to my desk to crack on with the rest of the day.
